ISO certification
What is ISO certification?
It is confirmation, issued by an independent body after an audit, that your management system meets the requirements of a standard such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
Who issues the certificate?
A certification body, preferably accredited. The consultant supports you but does not certify: the two roles are separate to guarantee impartiality.
Which standard should come first?
The one with the strongest demand: ISO 9001 for clients in general, ISO 45001 if safety is the main issue, ISO 14001 if environment is. An integrated system covers them together.
How long is a certificate valid?
Generally three years, with surveillance audits, usually annual, then a recertification audit.
Cost and duration
How much does certification support cost?
It depends on headcount, number of sites, the standard and your starting point. [Range or pricing method to be confirmed by HDAPEX.]
How long does it take to be ready?

Is the certification body paid separately?
Yes. The certification audit is invoiced directly by the body, separately from the support.
Health & safety and regulations
Does ISO 45001 certification exempt you from the law?
No. On the contrary, the standard requires you to identify your legal obligations and show that you meet them.
Which texts govern occupational health and safety in Algeria?
The reference text is Law No. 88-07 on occupational hygiene, safety and medicine, supplemented by many sector-specific implementing texts.
Training
Can training take place at our premises?
Yes, in-house. Open sessions are also possible. [Location to be confirmed.]
Can we train our own internal auditors?
Yes, that is the purpose of the internal auditor course, based on the ISO 19011 guidelines.
